Neighbors Helping Neighbors – Weld Project Connect Seeking Volunteers
Weld Project Connect is a one-day event set for October 14th from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Island Grove Park in Greeley. The event will provide free on-site, one-on-one services for individuals and families in Weld County who need help due to foreclosure, job loss, health issues, and many other critical issues.
Volunteers are needed from all backgrounds and experience levels to help our neighbors regain their footing in life. Volunteers can assist attendees by helping them navigate each of the service areas, they can also help with set up or take down or other needs during the event. Weld Project Connect is a great opportunity for those in need to be immediately connected with critical services and an opportunity for community members to connect with their neighbors.
For more information and/or to fill out a volunteer form, call 2-1-1 or 1-800-559-5590 or visit the website at www.weldprojectconnect.org. The event is being presented by NCMC Inc., Banner Health-North Colorado Medical Center, JBS, City of Greeley, Weld County, The Tribune, United Way of Weld County and numerous other event partners.
